COMPANY HISTORY

Festi was incorporated in 1958 by Festi brothers Radames and Triestino, who specialised in repairing and producing agricultural equipment for local farmers.
Over time and with the use of decommissioned military vehicles, the company produced the first orchard platforms, called “Sputniks” by local farmers due to their outlandish appearance for the times.
1963 saw the incorporation of F.lli Festi e C. Snc, with the first authentic self-propelled orchard platform produced the same year, with independent chassis, rear engine, and reverse shuttle with oil bath clutch, highly advanced features at the time.
1977
In 1977, in response to demand from the French market, Festi designed and built HidroFrance, the first 3 metre platform with hydraulic elevation and opening.

With the emergence of reduced row-space orchards, by 1999 demand was growing for ever smaller platforms, and collaboration with our Bolzano dealership allowed us to develop the 9 Series super compact range, which garnered instant market success when exhibited at the Eima show in Bologna.

2000
In search of more space, in 2000 our headquarters were relocated to the current site in Via Sabin, Gallo.
Orchard platform production has continued steadily over the years, advancing in step with technological evolution and changing regulatory requirements.
10 July 2018
Several safety systems were added following publication of European Standard UNI EN 16952, including the emergency descent system for which Festi holds the patent, registered on 10 July 2018.
Festi has never shrunk from new challenges, including application of the standards required by Industry 4.0, thus ensuring we can meet all customer requirements with ease.
2024
Aiming to boost productivity and develop the brand development, the newly-formed Festi Srl was incorporated in May 2024 marking the ingress of Carpenteria Grillanda Srl group, long-term Festi Snc supplier of metal parts
The new company has a solid background not merely in terms of heritage, with Maurizio Festi and Gianni Festi remaining on the staff, it also heralds winds of change and innovation thanks to Carpenteria Grillanda Srl’s young and future-ready workforce.
